Rhiannon Beaubien

Rhiannon Beaubien is the Managing Editor of Farnam Street Media, serving as the lead writer and editor of the influential Farnum Street blog and Brainfood Newsletter, founded by Shane Parrish. She is also the co-author, along with Parrish, of The Great Mental Models and the author of the novel Alone Among Spies. She is based out of Ottawa, Canada, and regularly explores how to apply the timeless ideas behind mental models on fs. blog. 

Before joining Farnam Street, she previously worked in Canadian Intelligence. Rhiannon joined host Robert Glazer on the Elevate Podcast to discuss Farnam Street, the importance of mental models, working with Shane Parrish, and her writing career. She worked at a Canadian intelligence agency for more than ten years and is also an author of fiction.
