James Aspey

James Aspey is an Australian animal rights activist and lecturer who has dedicated his life to promoting veganism and animal rights. He is a passionate animal advocate, a motivational speaker and social media influencer, and a prolific writer and public figure.

Born in Sydney in 1988, Aspey's passion for animal rights began when he was just a child. His family adopted a rescue dog from the RSPCA, and Aspey quickly began to understand the importance of animal welfare. He also began to question the ethics of using animals for food, clothing, and entertainment.

At 18, Aspey went vegan, and soon after, he became actively involved in the animal rights movement. He joined Animal Liberation and various other animal rights groups and began volunteering for animal sanctuaries. He also took part in protests, marches, and vigils in support of animal rights.

In 2014, Aspey was diagnosed with lymphoma, a form of cancer. After a long battle with the disease, Aspey eventually went into remission in 2015. During this time, Aspey was inspired to dedicate his life to animal activism. He began lecturing and speaking at schools, universities, and conferences around the world, spreading his message of compassion and animal rights.

Aspey has also become a prominent figure on social media, with a large following on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. He regularly shares his views on animal rights, veganism, and environmentalism and uses his platform to draw attention to causes such as animal testing, factory farming, and climate change.

His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Animal Welfare Award from Animal Liberation in 2015 and the Animal Hero Award from the Animal Justice Party in 2019.

Aspey is currently based in Sydney, where he continues to work as an animal rights activist and lecturer. He is a firm believer in using peaceful and non-violent tactics to create positive change. He also runs an animal rescue service, which helps to find homes for abandoned and neglected animals.
