Ryan attended the University of Texas to pursue his Bachelor's in Corporate Communications, which he completed in 2003. As a college student, he launched his first e-book-selling website and generated his first sale from his freshman dorm room. By the time Ryan graduated, his online property had ballooned to 500, and a hobby had grown into a real business.
