Balaji S. Srinivasan is an Indian-American entrepreneur, investor, and software engineer. He is best known as the co-founder and former chief technology officer of Counsyl, a genomics and genetic testing company that Myriad Genetics acquired in 2016. He is currently a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a venture capital firm, and a board partner at Coinbase, a digital currency exchange.
Srinivasan holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University and earned an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering. He was the first person to graduate from Stanford with a double major in computer science and electrical engineering.
