Austin Rief is the co-founder and current CEO of Morning Brew, a digital media company focused on business news. He is also the founder of Rolling Fund, a venture fund that has invested in startups such as Synthesis, Panther, Italic, and Cometeer.

Rief graduated from Princeton University in 2015, where he studied economics and entrepreneurship. After graduating, he moved to New York City and worked in the finance industry for two years. In 2017, he founded Morning Brew, a business news and newsletter, along with his college friend Alex Lieberman. The company has since grown to become one of the most popular business newsletters in the world.

In 2019, Rief founded Rolling Fund, a venture fund that invests in early-stage startups. The fund has made investments in Synthesis, Panther, Italic, and Cometeer, among other companies.

Rief is an active investor in the startup community and is a mentor and advisor to many startups.
