Description

This is the first American edition of Randolph Churchill's memoir of his first twenty years. The author is, of course, the son of the Great Man himself, Winston S. Churchill. It was published the year WSC died and has an embossed name on the half-title page, although thankfully it is tastefully done and not too ostentatious. A previous owner also left some small marginal notes on a few pages; these are reflected in the price.

There is some foxing throughout but this is hardly surprising for a book of its age. The front pastedown endpaper was not aligned properly by the original printer and there are a couple of minor bumps to the lower spine, again reflecting its age but not detracting from its overall condition.
