Venkatesananda Saraswati (or Swami Venkatesananda) 29 December 1921 in Tanjore, South India–2 December 1982 in Johannesburg, South Africa), known previously as Parthasarathy, was a disciple of Sivananda Saraswati. He received his spiritual training at the Divine Life Society in Rishikesh, India, and disseminated his master's teachings in South Africa, Mauritius, Australia, and New Zealand.
Venkatesananda said that he had been specially commissioned by his master, Sivananda, to spread the gospel of goodness – the four words: "Be good, do Good,." Swami Venkatesananda is also called Siva-Pada-Renu (dust of Siva's feet), a title conferred to him by Swami Sivananda, his guru.

Stan Goldberg (May 5, 1932 – August 31, 2014) was an American comic book artist best known for his work with Archie Comics and as a Marvel Comics colorist who, in the 1960s, helped design the original color schemes of Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and other major characters. He was inducted into the National Cartoonists Society Hall of Fame in 2011. Goldberg was born in The Bronx, New York City, on May 5, 1932. He graduated from the School of Industrial Art high school in Manhattan.
In 1949, when "I think I just turned 17 or I was still 16 at the time, I don't remember," Goldberg began work in the comics field as a staff colorist for Marvel's 1940s predecessor, Timely Comics, working under Jon D'Agostino. Two years later, Goldberg became the coloring-department manager. In that capacity, he said, he "colored not just interiors, but also every cover the rest of the decade" for Timely's successor, Atlas Comics. During this time, he took evening classes at the School of Visual Arts, where Jerry Robinson, whose war-comics stories Goldberg was coloring, was one of the instructors.
In addition to coloring, Goldberg drew stories for Atlas' horror comics (including as early as "The Cave of Death" in Marvel Tales #109, Oct. 1952) and other titles. As he recalled, in the mid-2000s of, the Atlas staff: I was in the Bullpen with many well-known artists who worked there at that time. We had our Bullpen up there until about 1958 or '59. [sic; the Bullpen staff was let go in 1957] The guys who worked nine-to-five and put in a regular day, and not the freelance guys who'd come in and drop off their work ... were almost a hall of fame group of people. There was John Severin. Bill Everett. Carl Burgos. There was the all-time great Joe Maneely... We all worked together, all the colorists and correction guys, the letterers and artists. ... We had a great time.

Mahatma Gandhi, also known as Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, was a political and spiritual leader of India who was the primary leader of India's non-violent, non-cooperative independence movement against British colonial rule. He was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar, a coastal town in present-day Gujarat, India.
Gandhi was educated in Britain, where he studied law and became a barrister. Ernest van den Haag was a Dutch-born American sociologist, social critic, and author. He was John M. Olin's Professor of Jurisprudence and Public Policy at Fordham University. He was best known for his contributions to National Review. Ernest van den Haag was born in 1914 in The Hague to Moses "Max" Melamerson and Flora Haag Melamerson.&nbsp;
He changed his surname in the early 1940s. While Van den Haag was still young, his family moved to Italy. Van den Haag grew up in Italy and began a life in politics following his education. In the late 1930s, he was a left-wing activist and communist. During this time, Italy was ruled by Benito Mussolini's fascist regime. In 1937, Van den Haag was nearly murdered by a political assassin who shot him five times.&nbsp;
After being shot, he spent nearly three years in prison. Nearly eighteen months of those three years were spent in solitary confinement. After release, fearing re-imprisonment, Van den Haag drifted between European countries in an attempt to evade Italy and Mussolini. In 1940, he made his way to Portugal and fled to the United States, arriving at Ellis Island, not knowing any English.&nbsp;
Living in New York, Van den Haag worked as a busboy and sold vegetables; eventually, he was able to secure admission to the University of Iowa, where a group of faculty members recognized his intellectual gifts and agreed to pay for his tuition. In 1942, Van den Haag graduated with an M.A. in economics. The same year, Van den Haag met the political philosopher Sidney Hook.&nbsp;
