Ryan Hoover is a tech industry entrepreneur, investor, and expert. He is the founder and CEO of Product Hunt, a platform for discovering new products.

Ryan was born in Seattle, Washington, in 1984. He attended Western Washington University, where he studied Business, Computer Science, and Entrepreneurship. After graduating in 2006, Ryan moved to Silicon Valley and began working for various startups, such as PlayHaven and Svpply.

In 2013, Ryan founded Product Hunt, a platform for discovering new products and services. The platform quickly became popular, and Ryan was invited to speak at various tech events and conferences, such as SXSW and Web Summit.

In 2016, Ryan received the Thiel Fellowship, an award given to outstanding entrepreneurs under 25. That same year, Product Hunt was acquired by AngelList.

In addition to his work with Product Hunt, Ryan is also an active investor and advisor to various startups, such as Breeze, StatusPage, and Wethos. He is also a mentor at the startup accelerator 500 Startups.

Ryan has also been featured on the cover of Forbes Magazine and was named one of the “30 Under 30” by Inc. Magazine in 2016.
