Edward Norton is an American actor, filmmaker, and philanthropist. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1969, and began his acting career in the mid-1990s. Norton has appeared in a wide variety of films, including "Primal Fear" (1996), "American History X" (1998), "Fight Club" (1999), "The Illusionist" (2006), "The Incredible Hulk" (2008), and "Birdman" (2014), among others. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards, and has won several other awards throughout his career.

In addition to his acting career, Norton is also known for his philanthropic work. He is the co-founder of the crowd-funding platform CrowdRise, and has also been involved with several other charitable organizations, including the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust and the Enterprise Community Partners. He is also the founder of the production company Class 5 Films, which has produced several of his own film, and one of the voices for the animated film "Kung Fu Panda" trilogy as the Master Rhino.

Norton is known for his dedication to his craft and his meticulous preparation for roles.
