Arthur De Vany


Arthur De Vany is an American economist, author, and fitness expert, known for his work in evolutionary fitness and nutrition. He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He was a professor of economics at the University of California, Riverside, and later at the University of California, Irvine. He retired from academia to focus on his work in the fitness industry.

De Vany is best known for his work in evolutionary fitness, which is based on the concept that human physiology and physiology are adapted to a hunter-gatherer lifestyle. Unfortunately, modern lifestyles and diets are contributing to obesity and chronic disease.
