Turia Pitt is an Australian author, public speaker, and motivational figure. She is a survivor of a severe burn injury, which she sustained while competing in a 100-kilometer ultramarathon in Western Australia in 2011. During the race, a bushfire swept through the area, and Pitt was trapped in the blaze. She sustained burns to over 65% of her body and was given less than a 5% chance of survival. However, she made an incredible recovery and used her experiences to inspire and motivate others.

After her injury, Pitt underwent many surgical procedures and spent months in a hospital recovering. Despite the severity of her injuries and the long road to recovery, she never gave up. She set herself the goal of walking again, eventually running, and worked tirelessly to achieve it. Today she's a public speaker, motivational figure, and author of the book "Everything to Live For," where she tells her story.

Pitt has also become a passionate advocate for burn survivors and has raised awareness about the importance of early intervention and support for people who have sustained severe burns. She has also used her platform to promote healthy living, fitness, and determination. Her inspiring story has been featured in several Australian and International programs, and her outstanding achievements have been recognized with several awards.

With remarkable resilience, Turia Pitt has turned her tragedy into an inspiration for many, showing that anything is possible with hard work, determination, and a positive attitude.
