Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California, to parents Abdulfattah Jandali and Joanne Schieble. His parents gave him up for adoption, and Paul and Clara Jobs adopted him.

At 13, Jobs enrolled in a summer science program at the University of California, Berkeley, and developed an interest in computers. He later attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, for one semester and then dropped out. In 1976, Jobs, along with Steve Wozniak, founded Apple Computer, Inc., which went on to become the world's most valuable company.

At Apple, Jobs became known for his innovative designs and marketing strategies. He was the driving force behind the development of the Macintosh computer, the first computer with a user-friendly graphical interface. He also spearheaded the development of the iPod, iPhone, and iPad, which revolutionized the way people interact with technology.
