Seth Rogen is a Canadian actor, comedian, writer, and director. He first gained fame in the early 2000s as a writer and performer on the television series "Freaks and Geeks" and "Undeclared." Rogen went on to star in and produce several successful comedy films, including "Superbad," "Pineapple Express," "This Is the End," and "The Night Before." In addition to his work in film, Rogen has also lent his voice to several animated projects, including the "Kung Fu Panda" franchise and the Adult Swim series "Robot Chicken."

Seth Rogen is also known for his philanthropy and activism, particularly in Alzheimer's disease research. Rogen's mother-in-law was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease, which motivated him and his wife, Lauren Miller Rogen, to become advocates for Alzheimer's research and to raise awareness about the disease. In 2011, they launched Hilarity for Charity, an organization that raises funds and awareness for Alzheimer's disease research and care through comedy events and other initiatives.

The organization has raised millions of dollars for the Alzheimer's Association and other organizations working to combat the disease. Rogen has also been vocal about the importance of funding for Alzheimer's research and has spoken to Congress and other government officials about the issue. He also wrote a book in 2020 named "Yearbook," which is a memoir of his childhood and talks about his mother-in-law's Alzheimer's disease.
