Morgan Spurlock is an American documentary filmmaker, television producer, and writer. He is best known for his documentary Super Size Me, in which he ate nothing but McDonald's food for 30 days to document the effects of fast food on health. The film was a critical and commercial success, winning numerous awards and being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

Spurlock was born in 1970 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied film and television production. After graduating, he worked in the advertising industry before deciding to pursue a career in filmmaking.
