Michael Bloomberg

Michael Bloomberg is an American businessman, politician, philanthropist, and author. He is the founder and CEO of Bloomberg LP, the parent company of Bloomberg News. He was elected mayor of New York City in 2002, served three terms, and was re-elected in 2009. He is a member of the Democratic Party and is the wealthiest person in the United States.

Bloomberg was born to a Jewish family on February 14, 1942, in Boston, Massachusetts.
