Caterina Fake is an American entrepreneur and businesswoman, best known as the co-founder of the social media website Flickr and the founder of Hunch. Fake began her career as a designer and art director, working for various companies, including Salon.com and Entertainment Weekly.

In 2002, she co-founded the online photo-sharing website Flickr with her then-husband Stewart Butterfield. The site, which allowed users to upload, share and organize their photos easily, quickly gained popularity and was acquired by Yahoo in 2005 for a reported $35 million. Fake served as the General Manager of Flickr until 2008.

After leaving Flickr, Fake found Hunch, a website that utilizes a recommendation algorithm to provide personalized recommendations to users. The site was launched in 2010 and was acquired by eBay in 2011 for an undisclosed amount.
