Alex Honnold

Alexander Honnold is an American rock climber, known for his achievements in solo climbing, particularly his free solo ascents of big walls. He is considered one of the most accomplished and skilled climbers in the world, and has set multiple speed records on various climbing routes.

Honnold has been featured in several documentaries, including the 2018 Academy Award-winning film "Free Solo," which followed his preparation and ascent of El Capitan. He's also been featured in several articles and interviews, and has written a book about his life and experiences as a climber, called "Alone on the Wall." He is also known for his philanthropic work, and founded the Honnold Foundation which aims to promote sustainable energy solutions in underprivileged communities.
