Mike Phillips has been an invaluable advocate for endangered species conservation since 1997. He is the Executive Director of the Turner Endangered Species Fund and advisor to the Turner Biodiversity Divisions and has made tremendous efforts to protect wildlife and promote conservation since his involvement began.

Before 1997, Mike worked for the US Department of Interior, where he played an important role in the successful reintroduction of red wolves to the Southeastern US and the restoration of gray wolves to Yellowstone National Park. His research on the impacts of oil and gas development on grizzly bears in the Arctic, predation costs for gray wolves in Alaska, and dingo ecology in Australia has been instrumental in advancing our understanding of the importance of conservation efforts.

In addition to his work with the Turner Endangered Species Fund and the Turner Biodiversity Divisions, Mike is also an advisor to the Rocky Mountain Wolf Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the conservation of wolves and their habitat in the Rocky Mountain region. This includes efforts to raise awareness of the importance of wolves in the ecosystem and work to protect wolf populations through habitat preservation and reintroduction.

Mike has devoted his career to the protection of endangered species and the promotion of conservation, and his dedication to this cause has made a lasting impact on the world. He is an inspirational example of a conservation leader, and his commitment to preserving our natural world will continue to benefit future generations.
